JUDGMENT OF THE HEATHEN

THE JUDGMENT OF THE HEATHEN AT ARMAGEDDON

    The Antichrist and the armies of the earth are gathered together at a place called Armageddon to fight against the Lord Jesus. There are multitudes in the valley of decision. The Lord will judge the heathen.
   Jesus Christ returns to this earth in flaming vengeance with the saints to execute judgment upon the ungodly. The wickedness of man is great. This judgment lasts one day-ref Zeph 1:15. When it is over, there are few men left alive. The Antichrist and false prophet are cast alive into the lake of fire. Satan is bound for a thousand years.
   Tradition associates the Valley of Jehoshaphat with the Kidron Valley. 

    It is written, LET THE HEATHEN BE WAKENED, AND COME UP TO THE VALLEY OF JEHOSHAPHAT: FOR THERE WILL I SIT TO JUDGE ALL THE HEATHEN ROUND ABOUT. PUT YE IN THE SICKLE, FOR THE HARVEST IS RIPE: COME, GET YOU DOWN: FOR THE PRESS IS FULL, THE VATS OVERFLOW; FOR THEIR WICKEDNESS IS GREAT. MULTITUDES, MULTITUDES IN THE VALLEY OF DECISION: FOR THE DAY OF THE LORD IS NEAR IN THE VALLEY OF DECISION-Joel 3:12-14.
   Most Bible scholars recognize the Valley of Jehoshaphat and the valley of decision as the same place. Multitudes should be assembled here as well as in the area of Megiddo.
   Others have considered there may be two parts to Joel 3:12-14. In one part, multitudes in the valley of decision are mentioned, and the press is full. Other verses (which seem to go with this) indicate that Jesus will fly as the grapes are trampled in the press. The second part describes the heathen being wakened and coming to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There, Jesus will sit (not fly) to judge the heathen.
   AND HE GATHERED THEM TOGETHER INTO A PLACE CALLED IN THE HEBREW TONGUE ARMAGEDDON-Rev 16:16.
AND I SAW THE BEAST (the Antichrist), AND THE KINGS OF THE EARTH, AND THEIR ARMIES, GATHERED TOGETHER TO MAKE WAR AGAINST HIM THAT SAT ON THE HORSE, AND AGAINST HIS ARMY-Rev 19:19.
   Enoch prophesied saying, BEHOLD, THE LORD COMETH WITH TEN THOUSANDS OF HIS SAINTS, TO EXECUTE JUDGMENT UPON ALL, AND TO CONVINCE ALL THAT ARE UNGODLY AMONG THEM OF ALL THEIR UNGODLY DEEDS WHICH THEY HAVE UNGODLY COMMITTED, AND OF ALL THEIR HARD SPEECHES WHICH UNGODLY SINNERS HAVE SPOKEN AGAINST HIM-Jude 14,15.
   AND I SAW HEAVEN OPENED, AND BEHOLD A WHITE HORSE; AND HE THAT SAT UPON HIM WAS CALLED FAITHFUL AND TRUE, AND IN RIGHTEOUSNESS HE DOTH JUDGE AND MAKE WAR. HIS EYES WERE AS A FLAME OF FIRE…AND HIS NAME IS CALLED THE WORD OF GOD. AND THE ARMIES WHICH WERE IN HEAVEN FOLLOWED HIM UPON WHITE HORSES, CLOTHED IN FINE LINEN, WHITE AND CLEAN...HE HATH ON HIS VESTURE AND ON HIS THIGH A NAME WRITTEN, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS-Rev 19:11-14,16.

    THE LORD JESUS SHALL BE REVEALED FROM HEAVEN WITH HIS MIGHTY ANGELS, IN FLAMING FIRE TAKING VENGEANCE ON THEM THAT KNOW NOT GOD, AND THAT OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST: WHO SHALL BE PUNISHED WITH EVERLASTING DESTRUCTION FROM THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD, AND FROM THE GLORY OF HIS POWER-2 Thes 1:7-9.
   AND I LOOKED, AND BEHOLD A WHITE CLOUD, AND UPON THE CLOUD ONE SAT LIKE UNTO THE SON OF MAN, HAVING ON HIS HEAD A GOLDEN CROWN, AND IN HIS HAND A SHARP SICKLE. AND ANOTHER ANGEL CAME OUT OF THE TEMPLE, CRYING WITH A LOUD VOICE TO HIM THAT SAT ON THE CLOUD, THRUST IN THY SICKLE, AND REAP: FOR THE TIME IS COME FOR THEE TO REAP; FOR THE HARVEST OF THE EARTH IS RIPE. AND HE THAT SAT ON THE CLOUD THRUST IN HIS SICKLE ON THE EARTH; AND THE EARTH WAS REAPED. AND ANOTHER ANGEL CAME OUT OF THE TEMPLE WHICH IS IN HEAVEN, HE ALSO HAVING A SHARP SICKLE. AND ANOTHER ANGEL CAME OUT FROM THE ALTAR, WHICH HAD POWER OVER FIRE; AND CRIED WITH A LOUD CRY TO HIM THAT HAD THE SHARP SICKLE, SAYING, THRUST IN THY SHARP SICKLE, AND GATHER THE CLUSTERS OF THE VINE OF THE EARTH; FOR HER GRAPES ARE FULLY RIPE. AND THE ANGEL THRUST IN HIS SICKLE INTO THE EARTH, AND GATHERED THE VINE OF THE EARTH, AND CAST IT INTO THE GREAT WINEPRESS OF THE WRATH OF GOD. AND THE WINEPRESS WAS TRODDEN WITHOUT THE CITY, AND BLOOD CAME OUT OF THE WINEPRESS, EVEN UNTO THE HORSE BRIDLES, BY THE SPACE OF A THOUSAND AND SIX HUNDRED FURLONGS-Rev 14:14-20.
   AND THE DESTRUCTION OF THE TRANSGRESSORS AND OF THE SINNERS SHALL BE TOGETHER, AND THEY THAT FORSAKE THE LORD SHALL BE CONSUMED-Isa 1:28.
   AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THAT DAY, THAT THE LORD SHALL PUNISH...THE KINGS OF THE EARTH UPON THE EARTH-Isa 24:21.
   And there will be so few people left THAT A CHILD MAY WRITE THEM-Isa 10:19. THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH ARE BURNED, AND FEW MEN LEFT-Isa 24:6.

    The Antichrist, HE SHALL ALSO STAND UP AGAINST THE PRINCE OF PRINCES (Jesus); BUT HE SHALL BE BROKEN WITHOUT HAND (with spiritual power)-Dan 8:25.
   The Antichrist shall be consumed WITH THE SPIRIT OF HIS (Jesus’) MOUTH and shall be destroyed WITH THE BRIGHTNESS OF HIS COMING-2 Thes 2:8.
   AND THE BEAST (the Antichrist) WAS TAKEN, AND WITH HIM THE FALSE PROPHET THAT WROUGHT MIRACLES BEFORE HIM, WITH WHICH HE DECEIVED THEM THAT HAD RECEIVED THE MARK OF THE BEAST, AND THEM THAT WORSHIPED HIS IMAGE. THESE BOTH WERE CAST ALIVE INTO A LAKE OF FIRE BURNING WITH BRIMSTONE-Rev 19:20.
   I BEHELD EVEN TILL THE BEAST WAS SLAIN, AND HIS BODY DESTROYED, AND GIVEN TO THE BURNING FLAME-Dan 7:11.
   An angel LAID HOLD ON (or seized) THE DRAGON, THAT OLD (or ancient) SERPENT, WHICH IS THE DEVIL, AND SATAN, AND BOUND (or chained) HIM (up) A THOUSAND YEARS. AND CAST (or threw) HIM INTO THE BOTTOMLESS PIT (or Abyss), AND SHUT HIM UP (or locked it), AND SET A SEAL UPON HIM, (so) THAT HE SHOULD DECEIVE THE NATIONS NO MORE, TILL THE THOUSAND YEARS SHOULD BE FULFILLED (or were over): AND AFTER THAT HE MUST BE LOOSED (or set free) A LITTLE SEASON (or a little while or time)-Rev 20:2,3. As it is written, THOU SHALT BE BROUGHT DOWN TO HELL, TO THE SIDES OF THE PIT-Isa 14:15.
   This is the judgment of the heathen, the Antichrist, the false prophet, and Satan when Jesus returns at Armageddon.
